OwnerCost has no accounts, logins or loan applications. The calculators run in your browser.
What your browser stores
Two localStorage keys: the last market you used (oc-m) and, where a consent choice is asked, that choice (oc-ads-consent). Clearing site data removes both.
What reaches a server
The site is static and hosted by Hostinger. Like any web host, it receives the address of each page you load, which is kept in standard server logs. When you change a calculator, your inputs are written into the address bar so you can share the link. That address is only sent to our host if you reload it or open a shared link.
Pages currently load nothing from other servers: no web fonts, analytics or third-party scripts. Text uses fonts already installed on your device.
Advertising
OwnerCost does not currently load advertising scripts. Before advertising is switched on, this page will be updated, and visitors in the UK, the EEA and Switzerland will be asked for consent through a certified consent tool before any ad is requested.
We do not sell personal data.
